I started practicing when I was 3 and finally ran my first race at 5. I ran with one dog in the peewee class until I was 7. Now at age 10, I've been running 3 dogs for almost 4 years and I can’t wait to run 4 dogs with the adult class.
I am competitive and I want to win but not at the expense of my teammates. When we cross the finish I want happy, healthy dogs and I want to have a smile on my face. My team and I work really well together. We’re not a musher and dogs on the trail, we are one team working for the same goal, 1st place! Competition is good, but I feel this sport is about the sportsmanship on the trail and the connection with my team.

Many people compliment how beautiful my 3 Siberian Huskies look. I had been using Blue Seal Krunchies dry dog food for my dogs since 1999.
Then in August of 2007, a discussion with a local veterinarian highlighted that Blue Seal was not as good a product as he sold. Having loyalty to Blue Seal, yet concerned about my dogs well being, I called Jason Harris my Blue Seal rep.
Jason took the time to go over the competitor’s products and formulations. We discussed my dogs’ activity levels, ages and nutritional needs. Based on our discussion, Jason’s sincerity and his product knowledge, I decided to retain use of the Blue Seal line. However, through Jason’s advice, I am now using the Life Stages Adult formula which meets my dogs’ current needs.

When Blue Seal introduced their new pet food line, Life Stages, we were ready to try it. We had been looking for a very palatable kibble that had the correct balance of protein and energy and was not full of preservatives. We also wanted something with a good vitamin/mineral pack. We made Life Stages Performance our primary kennel feed.
All of our adult show dogs transitioned easily to the Performance Formula and their coats have never looked better – not only the shine but the texture, too. At age 3 weeks, we started 2 puppies, Bella and Brady, on the Puppy Formula. At 6 months we transitioned them to the Performance. These two puppies, (brother and sister), both won their Sweepstake Classes at the National Specialty Dog Show in Warwick, RI. They were entered in the 6-9 month puppy class at age 6 months and 6 days and still WON!
We’re very proud of these puppies and express our gratitude to Blue Seal for their great nutrition!

A huge improvement on ingredients in what we feed is a key factor for our Best–In–Show winning show dogs. Key components in a show dogs’ health starts with fine breeding, but the food is a key factor as well. We are happy with the coats, great skin condition and shiny eyes as well as healthy vivacious puppies being born here this spring at M&M Shelties. We highly recommend to all our new puppy families to continue to feed Blue Seal Life Stages and certainly anyone out there thinking about it!
I can definitely say I will not go back to any other competitors. I have always fed high–end foods and this is by far the best I have ever fed!

All of our (9 currently) dogs are fed Blue Seal Natural 26. Puppies are weaned off their dams with moistened Natural 26. As you can see they’re full of fun, energy and good health, with nice shiny coats and great muscle. Thanks for a great product.
