Milk Formula 1 is a premium, all-milk protein milk replacer formulated to meet the nutritional needs of the newborn calf.
20% protein (from all-milk proteins) and 20% fat get calves off to a healthy start.
Helps support the immune system, improve gains and intakes, and reduce the impact of stress in calves.
The fully agglomerated formula allows for fast, uniform mixing in water and will stay in suspension longer. It also allows for mixing at a lower temperature, 110 degrees F, compared to non-agglomerated products, 130-140 degrees F.
MOS functions as a probiotic in the digestive tract, supporting a healthy rumen environment.
Formulated to provide levels of trace minerals and vitamins, including B vitamins, to maximize calf nutrition.

Birth - Feed 3-4 quarts of colostrum immediately after birth (need to provide 100 g of IgG). Feed 2-4 additional quarts within 12 hours of birth and feed 2-4 more quarts at 24 hours of age. Always use the highest quality colostrum available. If necessary, use an esophageal feeder. Don’t let the calf determine intake.
2 Days Old Until Weaning - Feed Milk Formula 1 until weaning. For small breed calves feed 1½ to 2 quarts of reliquefied Milk Formula 1 twice-a-day. For large breed calves feed 2 to 2½ quarts of reliquefied Milk Formula 1 twice-a-day. Continue to feed Milk Formula 1 as long as you would normally feed whole milk.
Cold Weather Feeding Instructions - Add 1-2 oz per feeding of Milk Energizer to increase the total energy level of the milk replacer during periods of cold stress.
1. Provide clean, fresh water at all times.
2. Start feeding a Kent Calf Starter when calves are 4 days old. Start with a small amount (0.5 lb) and gradually increase as the calf’s consumption increases. Provide a fresh amount each day to stimulate consumption.
3. Wean calves when consuming at least 2 lb of calf starter per day for 3 consecutive days.
Mix 10 ounces (0.63 lb) of milk replacer plus 2 quarts of warm (110°F) water. Add powder to water and mix vigorously. Use of cooler water requires greater mixing action and increases the possibility of the powder settling out. Feed immediately.
